An analysis of all waste materials was conducted and ecological actions have been established for all categories ( wood, metal, cardboard and paper, polymers and so forth ). All waste materials are either recycled or reused.
All VOCs generated by the solvent based inks from the printing press are incinerated by an RTO ( regenerative thermal oxydizer ) and released into the atmosphere in a non-polluting way.
All heat generated by the RTO is recuperated and used to heat the plant during the winter months, thus saving energy.
The solvent recovery system processes used solvent into 90% clean solvent which is reused in their printing wash up system.
Our printing press is linked to an automated system to supply solvent to and from the printing press which eliminates manual use thereby rendering the task safer and reducing waste.
The ink room is equipped with an ink mixing system for the preparation and matching of PMS colors for their consistency throughout the production runs and to ensure inventory control.
To save on energy and for optimal brightness, the plant is lit up with LED light bulbs.
