Cariste – Shift Forklift Operator

At our company, all forklift operators have the primary responsibility of supporting production to ensure delivery deadlines are met, under the supervision of the Logistics Manager.

We are currently hiring for full-time positions on the evening or night shifts (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.).

Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift in narrow aisles stand up and sit down;

Load and unload trucks;

Supply production lines and ensure smooth and continuous operations;

Move goods from a location to another;

Track inventory using a scanner;

Wrap pallets using a palletizer;

Actively participate in shelving and inventory managment;

Apply and comply with health and safety regulations;

Work in accordance with company standards;

Maintain cleanliness of the work environement;

Perform any other related task;

Required profile:

Hold a valid Forklift licence;
Relevant experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts;
Relevant experience in a similar position;
Experience with a WMS/ERP system, production workflows, and inventory management is required;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Practice safe driving anytime;
Be efficient and proactive;
Be punctual, reliable and responsible;
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
